The psychic sat in his gym, legs crossed and eyes closed behind his mask as various objects floated next to him. He had intended to simply reach out telekinetically to his partner, whom he hadn't heard from for weeks. However, the lack of response from Karen caused his anxiety to flair, resulting in the objects floating. Ever since he was young he always had Karen by his side, and the pair were as inseparable as the other masked child pairs. Even when they joined Koga and Bruno all those years ago, he had left her side only once to travel but soon found his way back to her.

But now? Nothing. She had left a few weeks prior for something, promising to keep in touch, only for him to be met with silence.

Taking a deep breath, he tried once more to reach out to her with his mind. 'Karen. Can you hear me? Where are you?' He hoped the message would reach her, though it wouldn't be until he opened his eyes again that he realized his telepathic message reached someone else instead.

I just can't today. I genuinely cannot understand girls or women who think it's okay to bully male cosplayers. And all because they're cosplaying from books. When I asked one of them why, it's because apparently men aren't allowed to as it's a predominantly female space. I'm sorry but when the fuck did reading become a female only thing. It's like saying girls can't cosplay as their favourite anime character or their favourite video game character because it's from predominantly male spaces. Those first couple weeks after a piece of fiction gets super popular are so joyous and magical. They're full of life and creativity, free from the cynical 15 year olds who think everything is problematic and weird. It's the breeding grounds of new AUs that are genuinely interesting with ppl making fanart on par with Renaissance paintings. It's a little bubble of fun and whimsy that will all come crashing down in a couple months when someone makes a tik tok video saying "hot take: the *insert media* fandom is so weird and toxic 😭"

((Manga verse headcanon:

When he was a masked child, he and Karen were in charge of interrogations of traitors within their sub group of Team Rocket. Both resorted to torture as means of getting folks to talk, with Will specializing in psychological torture. He would use his powers to cause illusions, delusions, and to prey upon what the person fears the most. Sometimes this alone would be enough to break the person without any other means being required.

Note: I take this from when in the GSC he tried to traumatize Blue (Green) using Xatu's psychic powers in Ilex Forest. Basically he used Blue's fear of birds and had Xatu create an illusion based on that fear to try and break her. ))

Andrew Minyard shouldn't be an undercover book nerd or something. This fandom is so obsessed with forcing Andrew into a specific vision of him that they WANT to see that they miss out on a lot of potential regarding the content that's actually given to us.

Andrew Minyard has an eidetic memory and has most likely watched way too many movies or TV over the course of his life.

Anyone who claims that he's too poetic/fanciful with words to not be into literature is simply ignoring the fact that there are stunning movie/film scripts out there that are worthy of being held on an equal pedestal as literature. And I'm saying this AS AN ENGLISH MAJOR. I literally majored in reading books. But shoving bookish Andrew into fanon is something I simply will never stand behind.

I have an entire slew of headcanons about why Andrew actually does hate the act of reading if anyone ever wants to hear them too
